CSG (Usher's) Ltd is a specialist Arboricultural Contractor based in North London providing commercial and domestic tree work through out London and the South East, including Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and the Home Counties. Managing Director Rod Usher has been involved in the tree business since 1983. CSG (Usher's) Ltd derives directly from Ushers Tree Work, which itself was a leading contractor in the London area. The company is part of the City Suburban Group which is one of the largest Arboricultural Contractors in theSouth East

The company reached its greatest extent during the mid point of the contract with Network Rail when a £6 million annual turnover was achieved and the entire Anglia region was covered for trackside arboriculture and vegetation management. Since this contract was taken in-house Rod Usher has restructured the business with the assistance of Scott Farrens of City Suburban Tree Surgeons. Both Directors feel confident that the future offers great opportunities.

CSG (Usher's) Ltd has passed influential industry audits to ensure the quality and safety of its tree-work services for commercial and domestic customers. We are approved by Lloyd’s Reqister of Quality Assurance (LRQA) and hold the ISO 9001 Standard, safe4site and the Environmental Agency. We are also a member of Constructionline, and have been passed for effective Health & Safety practice by CHAS and Exor Management Services.

One of the company's strengths has been to provide an emergency 24hr call-out service for customers, highly regarded during recent increasing instances of stormy weather conditions.

As an Arboricultural Contractor, we are extremely conscious of the risks involved in arboriculture and are, therefore, fully committed to an employee training programme and our staff's Continuing Professional Development alongside the rigorous application of all current legislation and Health and Safety regulations.

CSG (Usher's) Ltd currently has nine fully-equipped teams containing qualified Arborists and Grounds Persons capable of undertaking any form of arboricultural operation using all the latest plant equipment and machinery.
